A bass doesn’t have frets and the trombone doesn’t have frets; you can slide things on both instruments, and they both read bass clef. There are a lot of similarities but a lot of differences, too. But, the trombone, I tell ya, it can be frustrating. It’s a demanding instrument. Bass is a really demanding instrument, too. But that trombone, man, you got to focus on her or she will let you know. It can be a beast!
